Here's a good way to get that Dangerous,Scary Sharp edge on you gutting or fillet knife that you just can't get
with the stone and steel method most of the time.After you got your knife somewhat sharp but not yet quite to your liking.
Roll the window in your car or truck about half way down and,1.Holding the knife at about a 15 to 20 degree angle 2. Give it a few light swipes along the frosted edge of your window.3. Alternate and do it for both sides of your blade til your desired sharpness is reached.It doesn't take much pressure either. Careful Folks.No Bleeding.
