The women, children and candy assed men should strain the bilge water for sure. Hard core men of the lakes drink it straight up some even scrape a handful of seagull shit off the deck and throw that in to ensure a good safe withdrawal. You're welcome

Quit Smoking Great Lakes Style.

To stop smoking for good. You can boil three cigarettes in one quart of bilge water. Let cool for 20 minutes and then drink a huge gulp.

You will be violently ill for three days but you'll never smoke another cigarette or drink from the bilge again. You can thank me later for this sound advice.

The Flounder in the trapnet story has been verified as true. The owner who I spoke with and was aboard at the time confirmed it as well as a crewman that I've known for many years.
